Michelle Gardner-Quinn RIP

Message to kids: You are VULNERABLE not INVINCIBLE! This reminds me a little of the Carlie Brucia case. The victim captured on camera with her attacker.
Interestingly enough, on Thursday I was with a group of people discussing the local disappearance cases of Karen Wilson and Suzy Lyall.

At the time Wilson vanished, there was a lot of construction going on in the vicinity of SUNY Albany. When Lyall went missing, I remembered that, and wondered if perhaps a construction worker who had been in town when Wilson disappeared returned to the area 20 years later and repeated his crime. Think about it. A man who was 19 comes back at age 39--- still strong enough to abduct someone--- heck, if he comes back again at 59 he could do it again... Oddly enough, a construction worker is suspected in the death of UVM student Michelle Gardner Quinn.

Twenty-one year-old Michelle Gardner Quinn was found dead near the Huntington Gorge in Richmond -- an apparent murder victim. Police also arrested 36 year-old Brian Rooney. He has not been charged with killing Michelle Quinn, but he is the prime suspect...On Friday police searched a home under renovation in Burlington about two blocks from where Gardner-Quinn was last seen. The contractor says Rooney had been a construction worker at the site. [more]

Death truly does come like a thief in the night. I'll bet Michelle, Carlie and the endless list of others never realized they were living out their last day on earth.
