ONE Cause @ Saint Rose

One of the things I like about the Albany area is the "college presence." You have RPI, UAlbany, Union, HVCC, SCCC, Siena, Skidmore, AMC and The College of St. Rose, just to name a few. St. Rose just went LIVE with it's own Internet Radio Service. Check it out. I've been a long-time WRPI & WCDB listener, and I find the mix of music and personalities quite interesting. When I'm down in NYC I usually listen to WFUV and Hot97. I have varied tastes. I guess.

Something you might want to attend if you live in the Capital Region! I'm posting it now so you have time to plan!

When: 7:30pm MONDAY October 16th, 2006
Where: Touhey Forum of the Lally Education Building

The Saint Rose Americans for Informed Democracy are hosting a forum at The College of Saint Rose regarding three issues currently facing our global community -- poverty, hunger and AIDS/HIV. The event will include scholars from three major fields -- Dr. Renee Levant (Professor of Philosophy & Religious Studies), Dr. Kari Murad (Professor of Microbiology & Immunology) and Dr. Marda Mustapha (Professor of Political Science). The forum will include presentations by each of the speakers and will permit ample time for questions from the attendees. Together we can end world poverty, hunger & AIDS/HIV.

ADMISSION IS FREE & OPEN TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC. Sponsors of this event are the Saint Rose Americans for Informed Democracy, Saint Rose College Democrats, and the Saint Rose College Republicans. Refreshments will be served after the forum courtesy of the Saint Rose Americans for Informed Democracy.
