Rise
Brrrr! The morning run is not fun, not just yet. I'd rather be out in 50 degree weather. It was 31 at 5:30 (21 if you factor the wind chill in). Monday night I stayed up awhile (that 6pm nap helped accomplish that!) and watched Jay Leno and David Letterman. Letterman's first guest was Barack Obama, who was quite candid during his interview, admitting that the strain of campaigning is straining his marriage. Too bad. Guess Hillary Clinton has the best of both worlds, in having reversed roles with husband Bill, the two of them now able to watch each other's backs. Nice!

Howzabout that Don Imus? I never listen to his show. I think I'm with Howard Stern on this one. I've heard Stern and Imus haven't gotten along since the days of wNbc.

Chris Rock Live in Chicago, 2005:
“Dawn Staley man. During the day ho’s runnin away fromt he cops like every other nigga. At night, she’s running away from a bunch of cracka’s on a basketball court and gettin paid!”
We have the stigma in this country that a white person can’t tell a joke or be humerous about a black person, without it being racism. While the other way around is perfectly fine. If a white WNBA player were to have called for a Chris Rock apology, no one would have noticed, nor would I.
It’s just a fact that although the comments Imus made were innapropriate, it wasn’t because of what he said, it was because of who he said it about and their background.
