Happy Memorial Day Weekend!
Finally! The unofficial start of summer! After a Friday of hard work and cool play, I ended up watching "National Bingo Night" on ABC. ABC, owned by Disney, has no dignity: they proudly hail "Wife Swap" and "Ex-Wives Club" as two of the greatest shows in their line-up. I enjoy watching several CBS shows: CSI, CSI Miami, CSI NY, NCIS, The Unit, Criminal Minds, Numb3rs and Jericho. I'm also a regular viewer of the morning show and 60 Minutes.Speaking of Jericho, if people can go that NUTS over a TV series, why can't John and Jane Q. Public stage an uprising against high gasoline prices? Are we sheep?
Army Spc. Marissa Strock, who was severely wounded in Iraq, will get all her deposit money back from the landlord of an apartment that is not handicapped-accessible. According to the Times Union, Amar Goswami of Sand Lake issued a statement Friday apologizing and saying he was unaware of Strock's disability. He said he would refund a $2,800 deposit on the apartment at 31A Scully Ave., Latham. WTF! What kind of landlord charges that much for a freakin' deposit?

Ed Dague asks What is with WTEN’s John McLoughlin? Wonder whazzup? That's the second time in just a few days the retired TV13 anchorman has taken a poke at the venerable (and still hard at work) John McLoughlin. A friend told me John reminds her of Professor Cosmo Fishhawk, aka The Perfessor (pictured). Fishhawk's personal motto is "Never let the facts interfere with a good story."
Come Monday, don't forget to listen to MusicRadio77 WABC.

Speaking of Google, on Wednesday, it was announced that FeedBurner, the RSS aggregator, is being acquired by Google for $100 million according to TechCrunch.
