Free Comic Book Day May 3

Free Comic Book Day is an international event which takes place on the first Saturday of May( http://freecomicbookday.com/ ), a single day when participating comic book shops across North America and around the world give away comic books absolutely free to anyone who comes into their stores.

Albany resident Ron Marz, will be signing for free that day at Earthworld Comics on Central Avenue. Marz is currently writing the very popular Witchblade comic for Top Cow Productions. He is also the writer of Broken Trinity Prelude, the free issue being given away as part of Free Comic Book Day. Marz has had a very prolific career in comics. He has written Witchblade since issue #80 (it’s now up to #117) and he has pledged to stay on the book until at least #150. A run like that on one title is very rare these days in the comics industry. Here is a link to Marz’s wikipedia page if you would like to read more: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ron_Marz.
