Blogging Via Turtle

Ah, Friday evening at last! This weekend, I'm designating Friday eve as my "R&R" night. First, let me say that this has been an incredible week! It's amazing I got through it, but many personal challenges lie before me in the days ahead. Why does it seem that when one has an absolutely smashing week at work, the home life is troublesome, and vice-versa? This week I feel like I really did my job and then some at work. I felt really connected to every assignment. Leisure time has been pretty good: I've stayed "grounded" via my blog and all of the wonderful readers and fellow-bloggers who've been supporting my "literary efforts." Thank-You!

I got in today at 6pm. I had a wonderful home-cooked dinner, settled down with a piping hot cup of coffee, and I'm catching up on my mail and other reading. Check back at this blog in about 12 hours and I'll fill you in. It's also a good night for TV: Season Finales of Ghost Whisperer, Moonlight and Numb3rs.

I'm stationed on my network via dial-up connection right now (the laptop is charging) and I'm online with a slow, measly 28000bps! Talk about 1995! I should be at least 50k and max out at 56k... maybe I'll hang up and re-connect via a different number. Among individuals continuing to experience "blogging pains" are Miss Izzy, who I'm now assuming wasn't kidding when she said she was getting fed up with blogging. XiaXue, who feels it's time for a change (in template) and The Albany Eye, who revealed his identity and nobody noticed right away! He couldn't resist the urge to blog! And, at least I know I'm not alone in this world when it comes to computer and connection problems: [Translation] Blogger Frustration
