The Media Crucifixion Of Jesse Jackson

Jesse falls the third time: double, double, toil and trouble. Catch the mark. Make him apologize. Catch him again.

Seems like an awful lot of trouble. Could this be a "test" or "experiment" of some sort? Would it have been more newsworthy (read that generate more viewers, hence more advertising dollars) if the Eliot Spitzer Client 9 story had been broken up into parts? Each time we catch him, he squirms, apologizes, we release him and catch him again?

New FOX news approach: "Catch and release?"

Memo to FOX: who's next?

Even those close to FOX have questions: "I have no idea why they feel so compelled to cover Jesse Jackson’s backside. It’s not like he’ll ever return the favor–and judging from my e-mail, the decision to withhold the tape is annoying the hell out of Fox’s loyal viewers who have stuck with the “We report, you decide” network. I feel your pain." - Michelle Malkin
