(251) 947-8966

This number has been appearing on hard-wired and cellular telephones across the USA. Here's a heads up: they're trying to sell you a warranty for a car you don't own. They tried to sell one to my neighbor's 11-year old daughter via her cellphone! Word has it the company allegedly obtained the cell numbers illegally.

  1. whoa.. seriously. thanks for the heads up, i just got a call from that number just now and i did a reverse phone number search. they've called me 4x times now and they weren't specific about which car it was so i'v never done anything. thanks a lot for the info dude

  2. Thanks for the info. They have been calling my /office/ phone for weeks and it's /very/ annoying.

  3. I think they are getting their info from the DMV,I just registered my new car. No sooner then a day later they called me. Trying to sell a car warranty I asked who they were and how the got my number "ah through Honda Sir", I was transfered to a "manger" and was hung up on....real scum! I'm sure they have taken a good deal of people with this scam.

  4. I don't think they're getting info from DMV. Google this number and you'll find 100's of complaints from people with no car, cell phones of minors, etc.

I just bought a GO phone. No one has this number associated with me yet. I get calls every day from this number (no reason for me to answer it). Finally looked up the number, thinking I might call them and tell them their old friend isn't here anymore... WOW! look at all the complaints...

I think it's a robot dialer. This should be illegal; such a waste of phone service, time, bandwidth, whatever.
