While several Iranian bloggers criticized President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's speech at the United Nations conference on racism in Geneva, some Islamist bloggers praised his performance.
Silly Bahraini Girl reports that her country's Information Ministry has blocked access to, an aggregator which brings all Bahraini blogs under one roof.

The Grapeshisha Blog, out of the UAE, comments on a news report linking the Somali pirates to Dubai and other Gulf states.

Google moves in on LinkedIn... meanwhile, President Dmitry Medvedev has opened a discussion forum on the popular LiveJournal blogging site.

Because, like the fine publication Tablet, whom I borrowed this concept from, I too am committed to bringing you the best, smartest, most enlightening and entertaining reporting and writing I'm able to provide, all free of charge.
