Twicks and Tweets!

You will notice a "Tweet This" button appearing at the bottom of posts. Since Twitter is such an "immediate" service, I decided to overlook the fact that the button, when you arrive on a post displayed on the main page, will tweet the main URL, dave-lucas.blogspot.com --- if you go to the actual pagelink URL, such as "http://dave-lucas.blogspot.com/2009/03/upside-down-tomatoes.html" for information on how to make your own upside-down planter, you'll be able to tweet that pagelink.

Nothing works perfectly in an imperfect world!

One of my readers asked me how I am able to post to the blog from my cellphone. Well, it took some MacGyvering: I enabled the feature on blogger that allows you to post from an email address. My cell provider is Virgin Mobile, and my Kyocera Lingo phone allows me to log into my email account from the phone! I log in, put the title of the post in the 'subject' line, type away in the body... then (very important) SAVE TO DRAFT. As soon as the post is saved, I go back into the draft folder and send it on. It works every time. (If you 'send' directly, I found half the time the post gets lost (screen says 'Network Error'), while the drafts always go without a hitch!
