Saturday mornings I always pick up the $1 weekend edition of the Albany Times Union (Sunday is NY Times day). When I got the obituaries, a woman's face caught me. Although she was 86 when she passed away, there was this lovely photo of a young woman, which gave me an idea. Why not have TWO pictures in your obit? Pick one from a young time in your life, one that captures the essence of you--- and as you grow older each year, get a picture taken and keep it aside. It doesn't matter if you're 15 or 95. Keep the two pictures in a special place along with a short list of your accomplishments. When your number is up, your obit should be able to stand alone as well as have room for what additional details loved ones may wish to enter... Hey, wait a sec! As I type this I'm noticing another person on the same page has the two picture thing happening! ----------
