Dream Sade

Helen, I haven't seen you in years, yet there you were in a dream last night. You had a flat in Kensington and I was visiting. You must be 50 now, but in the dream you were 30. We were sitting on the couch, sipping deliceux French wine. I picked up your guitar and strummed a few chords. You remarked "ah, you can fill in for my guitarist on the nights he's off." Wow! I felt like I'd just won a bunch of money on a scratch lottery ticket. A servant appeared on my left, offering a big round loaf of very thinly sliced bread. I took a piece from the middle, and just as I was wishing I had a pat of butter to go with it, I discovered butter contained within a large airhole in the slice. But alas, the butter fell from the hole onto my jacket, and I woke up. The good part of all that is my usually non-applicable dreambook actually contained an entry for butter... it says that the appearance of butter in a dream, even if the butter is spoiled, is an indicator of good fortune to come.
