Drifting

It has been said that with maturity comes recognition of moods and feelings, understanding them while accepting that they are part of life. Since awakening this morning I find myself on some sort of "autopillot" - going through the usual motions but as if I am "along for the ride" or "going with the flow." That's not a bad thing, but I betcha some people confuse the feeling with either boredom or depression or "I need change." As the day unfurls I'll deal with whatever comes my way. In other matters, I was mildly surprised to see another former NY state official accused of criminal behavior. And maybe later on today I'll blog about last night's ep of GOSSIP GIRL.
