Google "Frugal"

The Sunday Times Union devotes much space to the economy and to folks trying to cut corners as they scrape to get by. Don't believe anyone who says "it's getting better." It's NOT. Hunker for the long haul and save what cash you can. It DOES grow! A splendid thing happened to me this morning at the laundromat. As I was about to load some stuff I noticed a wet $20 clinging to the washer's side. That 20 is dry now :) and will accompany me to the supermarket in a couple of hours. As for the collective economy, I still recommend NOT buying a car. Gas prices are creeping up, and, as one car dealer told me while I was gathering info for a report on the Chrysler closings, people KNOW that hybrids and electrics are about 16 months away from being marketed. Hang on to the old trusty clunkers for now!
