Cold Days of June

Today began with me tweeting something about wanting my global warming back It was in the 30s when I went out at 5am for my morning routine. Brrr! I had to interrupt my annual spring diet with a course of homemade waffles and hot maple syrup! I dressed for the day like it was winter, and it's a good thing I did, as I had to go downtown to cover a "Marriage Equality" press conference at the Capitol. I met three interesting same-sex couples, including two guys who had an adorable little adopted son with them. You can hear my story Tuesday at Noon on WAMC's Mid-day Magazine. And don't forget the fund drive is going on this week. Back to the weather: tomorrow is supposed to be a tad warmer than today, but Wednesday will be a real killjoy featuring a cold rain and a high around 60. And this is June? Before you know it it'll be September. I want HEAT!
