Make 'Dark Days' Enlightening

It's dark and rain this morning, with a high of 64 forecast. Whenever a stormy day like this occurs, I go introspective: while everyone else is hurrying, scurrying about, bemoaning the weather, I give God special thanks and use idle moments for self-assessment. While others see and experience a dark damp day, my brain is going double time: my workload seems faster and smoother. I recall reading a French research paper in the 90s that showed brain activity, intuition and spirituality increase when a dark day appears during summertime. I'm not surprised. Our ancestors likely spent days like this huddled together in shelters, passing time by telling stories, sharing ideas and teaching younger members in the group. Whatever the sky condition in your area, have a blessed and peaceful Tuesday!
