Misery Personified

So the battery died in my digital thermometer. I'm still ill with what appears to be a really bad cold. I slept a LONG time today, after a good sleep last night. I can tell my temp is elevated but the high fever is gone. I don't have a sore throat but my voice is raggedy and suddenly I'm ultra congested. The cough has subsided but when I do cough every muscle in my upper torso feels it. No appetite, but hot coffee is really good going down. I got around to watching "The Day The Earth Stood Still" DVD which the original 1950s picture, which, surpasses the original from start to finish. I really disliked the bratty "misunderstood" kid in the remake. Keanu was the only thing that saved the picture. Well, gotta get back to my misery...
