Okay, we have Government Motors. Now how about Government Housing?

President Obama is a very smart man. Hopefully he'll be smart enough to trashcan FICO. There are lots of people who desire to be homeowners but can't. Because of FICO. My parents knew a lot of people who owned their own homes but had little or no credit and NO FICO. All that mattered not too long ago was that you lived in the community and had a good job. Look at today: people who had no intention of making monthly house payments were given prime loans, while folks who really needed and deserved housing were turned away due to low FICO scores. The housing market aka the American Dream cannot recover until the ridiculous FICO system is abolished. Mark my words!
