Indira Noel Pleads Guilty, Fined $250

The oft-Googled (at least on THIS blog) Indira Noel was accused of forging a signature, then hit with misdemeanor forgery charges and now has pleaded guilty to a disorderly conduct violation.
“Indira said, ‘I’m David’s girlfriend,’ ” - New York Times
She'll pay a $250 fine! Let's see, makes over $100K a year, $250 fine... so the average Joe or Jane making about $30K would pay $80 for the same offense? Just asking! Maybe it was a "birthday gift" --- wink wink! Ms. Noel also had been accused of some hanky-panky involving a Social Security number.

Albany County District Attorney David Soares' office says the plea was accepted this morning after the charges were levied. The 44-year old Noel (pictured) is said to have accepted responsibility for her actions. Heather Orth from the DA's office told the Albany Times Union that people charged with a couple of misdemeanors are commonly allowed to plead down to things such as disorderly conduct, particularly if they have no prior criminal histories such as Noel.

Who among us has not made a mistake or did something we truly regretted? Whether it was discovered or not? We all keep secrets. Sometimes we do things on the spur of the moment that cross the line of our own character. Judge not lest ye be judged! When a break comes along, take it... do not judge (as I just said) and do not begrudge! I wish more people would step up to the plate and take a little responsibility for their actions!

Time now for you to move along and Google someone else!
