I write so many articles I'm proud of that no one reads! Sadly, when I look at my stats, the most incredible stuff I've ever written hardly (if ever) gets read. But for no apaprent reason, there are certain terms that bring visitors to certain posts over and over again, sometimes on a DAILY basis!
The name "Indira Noel" comes up from time to time... there will be a "surge" where, in a single day, anywhere from 5 to 15 hist to my blog come as a result of someone searching that name. Interestingly enough, the searches always originate from state government or law enforcement offices (I can tell that from the reporting / tracking service I use) including the NYS Assembly and the Attorney Generals' office.
Indira Noel is a Senate staffer whose name appears in this past Sunday's Times Union. Her official title is "Director of Intergovernmental Affairs" and her name appears with those of other staffers who just received some hefty pay hikes. Indira was making just over $107,000 a year, with the raise nets over $118,000. Perhaps one of the reasons her name comes up in searches so often, is that it's a very pretty name. When you say it aloud, it has a pleasant ring.
Melayu Bogel is another name that keeps reeling the hits in. For the life of me, I cannot understand WHY! LSASS.EXE has been bringing anywhere from 10 to 30 readers a day (since about last week) so I imagine people are having problems with it again. Google searches for Lara Logan in a swimsuit also land quite regularly in my daily stats!ASIDE:: Since we're on the topic of democrats, I will tell you I saw Ms. Noel last week at the Capitol. I knew who she was from her pictures. We've never been formally introduced, but she seems like a nice person. That was on Thursday when I attended the press conference welcoming Senator Pedro Espada back to the democratic conference (after he jumped ship to camp out with republicans for awhile). On that day I think I discovered Pedro Espada's Secret.
You know how some people are super-photogenic? (Some film stars fit in this category.) They look average or so but when their images are captured in photographs or on video, they look awesome. Now, with that thought in mind, I'll try to explain Espada to you: he just looks like a regular politican in PICTURES. But should you SEE him in the flesh, the Senator comes across as loveable - he projects charm and has this sort of "innocent" look about him, maybe a "who me? I didn't do that!" kind of look...
