One of the 25 most popular posts on my weblog is about the legendary FUGS.Sadly, co-founder Tuli Kupferberg suffered a stroke in April of 2009 at his home in New York City. It left him severely visually impaired, and in need of regular nursing care. Up until that time, the 85-year old Tuli continued to perform. After treatment for several days at a hospital in New York, followed by convalescence at a nursing home, Tuli was allowed to go home, where he is continuing to write songs.
If anyone lives life to the max, it's Tuli!
