The All You Need Blog

Rick Broida (PC World) has an article up on WaPo about finding blog posts on a service called Regator. I haven't tried it yet, and I haven't seen any incoming traffic from it, so I'm thinking my blog must not be available through it. Broida says Regator "...promises the "best posts" from the "best blogs." The site aggregates (it's an aggregator, get it?) ..." Yeah, we get it alright. Folks, You don't need it! All you need, are Five sites / services:

1) Google Reader - you can pick the blogs you want to subscribe to. So easy!

2) THIS BLOG you're looking at right now. My blog is an aggregator of sorts: somebody told me my blog is like a "swiss knife" of a website. Current events, commentary and links to a bunch of wonderful fascinating blogs and bloggers all over the world. That impressed me, and it is true. By jumping off links in my posts, or my blogroll, or the Wibiya Toolbar or my C-Box, you'll spend time with an amazing bunch of people! I also offer a bit of aggregation via "Around the blogsophere," "Media Watch," "Briefs," "Pop Clips" and "Capital Region People."

3) MyBlogLog
4) Digg

5) Global Voices
