Dreamstorm

My brain must have been in defrag mode last night. Just about 24 hours ago, the Albany area experienced some interesting weather. I captured a few snapshots with my cellphone of a storm front as it moved through the neighborhood. You can actually see the heat and humidity giving way to the cooler air... you could also FEEL it as it was passing overhead. And later the colors of the sky, rose and ornage hues, were fantastic but didn't come out when photographed because darkness had set in.

A few hours later I got cozy in my easychair and drifted off to sleep while watching TV. As I watched, the colors began leaking out from the bottom of the TV screen onto the entertainment center and then onto the floor. TV Characters appeared from inside the bottom of the screen and began pulling the colors back into the set. That's when someone came into the room and asked me "Are you asleep?" to which I replied "No!" I moved into the bedroom and the entire night was peppered with various dreams of strange and marvelous things, people and situations!

I was so affected by the experience, the odd feeing carried through almost my entire day, with me finding myself in one surreal situation after another! It actually felt really good! Was it some sort of psychotic break with ordinary reality - or - were "brain chemicals" released during the dream state still active, breaking down as the day unfolded?
