Earth to NewsChannel 13

More correctly, "NuisanceChannel 13"... Why are you ruining our enjoyment of the "Merlin" TV series? The idiots are not only running a screencrawl about an isolated thunderstorm, they broke into and over the program so their meteorologist could babble on about it. Nobody cares! They also switched off NBC's hi-def and we have to watch the show in letterbox. NO OTHER LOCAL TV STATION IN ALBANY IS RUNNING THE STUPID CRAWL! We already know how out of touch 13 is: they fired the area's top newscaster, Lydia Kulbida. 13 is wasting bandwidth with two digital weather channels. Tonight's action proves the station doesn't care about its viewers. On the other hand if it were a bigger storm with a broader potential impact, viewers would welcome the info. I scanned the channels again: no other station is running a weather crawl. By the way, you can get Merlin on DVD from BBC.
