Tracking Danny... Last time we experienced a Hurricane by the name of Danny was July 1997. That Danny brought Alabama record rain fall with approx. 36.71 inches on Dauphin Island! That storm was the only hurricane to make landfall in the United States during the entire 1997 Atlantic hurricane season.
