Have you ever looked at your blog via a different browser or a different operating system? You may be shocked to discover that certain widgets or features may not be visible on certain browser/OS combinations. For example, on my neighbor's laptop using Google's Chrome with WinXP, LinkWithin remains visible but the 5-star post rating system and accompanying link recommendations are gone. At the public library, which uses the latest version of internet explorer, the Google toolbar at the top of this blog never displays; the old blogger bar appears in its place. Note: you can Google up websites that purport to display your site as it would look in different browsers. It's not a foolporrf way to judge! The best thing to do (as always) is "do it yourself." Go to a friends's house, a library, an internet cafe or even a store where computers on display are hooked up to broadband. Punch in your URL and see what you might see!
