Pop Clips » 13 August 09

A growing number of HIV-positive bloggers around the world are using citizen media to express how they live with the virus, although speaking openly about HIV/AIDS can be difficult. - Blogging with HIV: “Love is still possible” (and apparently so is making new music...)

Well, here's another ghoulish Michael Jackson story. The Times reports today that in the 48 days since the King of Pop's death, his estate has made $100 million — with another $100 million likely before the end of 2009 — which will almost certainly set an unbeatable record for single-year earnings for an expired celebrity.

Julia Child wasn't a fan of Julie Powell's Internet homage to her classic French cookbook. Though she likely never saw the Julie/Julia Project online, Child said she felt the young writer's blog was gimmicky.

Latest of the online hoaxes involves "Google Online Promotions".
