On-again off-again blogger Shoko Nakagawa, aka Shoko-tan aka Shakatan, continues blogging via Ameblo [ja], having abandoned her old yaplog. A veritable Japanese superstar, Nakagawa is a singer, TV celebrity, blogger, voice actress, and illustrator who has earned the nickname "Shokatan" from her legion of diehard fans.

Sony Music said her blog received a total of 1 billion hits as of early 2008.
