A few choice selections for your reading pleasure this evening: a little schmoozing before all that: I'm in a laid-back mood, pondering my next move on the Net. Just came in from several hours outdoors and I'm quite thrilled that the weathermen forecast 90 degree + temperatures for Saturday, Sunday and Monday! This 4th we're doing the "staycation" and believe me there's no shortage of activities (and fireworks) all within walking or short-hop biking distance! I'll have my HiPhone and netbook handy in case anything happens that calls for creating a blogpost or issuing a tweet!

Today I joined FamousBloggers.net and I'm glad I did. Although criticized by (ex?)Blogger Pilar Tiang, whose blog I can no longer find, I really like FamousBloggers and only wish the site loaded faster on dialup... well, that won't be a problem for long, for THREE good reasons:
(1) I'm going to take a snapshot of the site and load it onto a floppy so I can get it up more quickly.
(2) By this time next week I hope to have a good web accelerator installed on this particular computer: I think I have found a good one, and I will certainly advise you, as I know many of you are still using dial-up.
(3)I have a Virgin Mobile flash-drive BroadBand2Go which I received as a gift. I have yet to activate it, but hope to do so within ht enext 7 to 10 days, when I get a "round tuit."
