The Battle Against Human Trafficking Continues

In the past I've written and reported extensively concerning Human Trafficking. Here's an update.

French and British police say they have broken a trafficking ring, arresting 26 people who were attempting to smuggle hundreds of migrants to the UK.

This year, for the first time ever, the US included itself in the State Department's annual report on human trafficking, incidences of which rise during recessions.

The Palermo Protocol and The TIP Report are among items covered in "Combating Human Trafficking in the Western Hemisphere: The Need for Increased NGO Involvement" (Council on Hemispheric Affairs Blog)
