Now Awakened

Relaxed after a quatercentenary of sleep
spun from some obsequious equinox thread
the incarnation of a snafu karma hyperbole

Flying over the ancient Mediterranean Savannah
immortal scales glinting like polished palladium
with strength of the oak and wisdom of dreams

Community of hallowed energy in one being
men with frugal spirit testify shamelessly
afraid of being simple mortal nomz appetizers

Ancient being of apocalypse now awakened
salvation or slayer to be determined
as the world revels in awe and fear
