Some people enjoy the company of small animals. The sad thing is that most human masters outlive their pets. Two of the blogosphere's top ladybloggers, Wendy Cheng (XiaXue) and Bai-Ling, are coping with the loss of a beloved pet. Each blogger posts pictures, text and video. You might want to pass along your condolences. I know they are not people, but these small animals were living beings that entertained, amused, and yes- loved and were loved in return by their owners!

Some people have a problem with Colombian blogger Tomáz Garzía, who revealed through his blog that he had received an email from the legal representative of controversial Venezuelan Juan José Rendón, demanding that he erase the content where he refers to Rendón's participation in the recent Colombian presidential elections. Twitter users and bloggers reacted to the email, emphasizing the right to freedom of speech.
