This picture off the TV is from a special program that aired around 2000 - President Bill Clinton and Hillary gave a "TV tour" of the White House around Christmastime! I found the 60-minute program on an old VHS tape way back in the cabinet. I hadn't watched it since the day it was recorded! It's a marvelous show and I don't know if it is still available anywhere or if you can watch it online. Get in touch with me if you'd like a copy! This is shaping up to be a busy weekend for me! A whole lot of things going on, beginning with a little physical housecleaning. After that, we're off holiday shopping on Canal Street. At some point tomorrow we'll be up in Saratoga, and then swing back to Albany to get ready for back-to-work on Monday morning! (If there's an inch of spare time anywhere available, holiday decorating will commence!)
I have new PIM organizer software that comes highly recommended (and best of all it is FREE) which I will be trying out. If it works as well as they say I may be posting about it here on the blog sometime next week.
There are those of you who stop by here on your entrecard dropping trips, and I know that many droppers are people who are using their blog to assist their income. Some of you spend more than 8 hours a day online, and I know you work very hard. Don't give up! Whether you're making USD$4 a month or $4000, keep tweaking and participating and doing everything you can to make your blog better! I wish I could visit every blog every day, but that would be impossible. If I don't "link back" to you upon request, please don't be offended. I've gotta get in there and clean up my blogroll before 2011 rolls in. Also don't be offended if don't follow you back when you follow me on twitter. My max on twitter is "300" - and that's where I try to keep the number of people I'm following (I've written about that on this blog - there's a searchbox or two in the sidebar you can avail yourself of to locate the precise articles.)
As I do every December, I'm opening the blog to guest-posters. Just get in touch via c-box or my email addy (if you can find it)!
With all the recent hubbub over Google PR and Entrecard advertising, this URL has started showed up in my statmeter.
Then, there is this ::: Google's "opinion" as expressed by its algorithms, is that blogs should be pushed to second-tier search status (apparently regardless of the income impact on webmasters) that The Associated Press' view matter more than that of TMZ.com, and online speech expressed in a certain way and by a handful of media sites, is what you should see first on Google News.
