Here's where I was Wednesday: covering the State of the State [links to transcript] message delivered by New York's new Governor Andrew Cuomo. I was situated along "media row" at tv camera level in the Convention Center. Of course if you watched it on television you were looking through a telephoto lens. But the photo below depicts the actual view.
Directly behind me and slightly elevated were other reporters connected to the internet - you'll see a famous NY newspaper blogger, a TV newsguy and public radio's Karen DeWitt.
And last, a more clearly focused picture of the back upper row - Karen DeWitt taking notes or perhaps sending emails on her laptop.
