In the days, weeks and months to come, you're going to be hearing more and more about U.S. President Barack Obama's birth certificate. On 4/20/2011 Matt Drudge posted a "flash" concerning a new book written by Jerome Corsi, the same fellow Drudge says "torpedoed John Kerry's presidential dreams with SWIFT BOAT," that will supposedly set the record straight regarding Obama's eligibilty to BE president.
Jerome Corsi's new book is entitled "Where's the Birth Certificate? The Case that Barack Obama is not Eligible to be President" - On its Amazon listing, the book's publisher declares: 'Corsi exposes in detail key issues with Obama's eligibility'... the book is to be released on May 17th. (Corsi has authored two previous books slamming Obama, which in turn were criticized for containing factual errors.)

In August of 2008 FactCheck.org published an article concluding that Obama was indeed born on U.S. soil:
"in June, the Obama campaign released a digitally scanned image of his birth certificate to quell speculative charges that he might not be a natural-born citizen. But the image prompted more blog-based skepticism about the document's authenticity. And recently, author Jerome Corsi, whose book attacks Obama, said in a TV interview that the birth certificate the campaign has is "fake."So, could Corsi really have something? Remember, he's been like a dog on a bone chasing this down since 2008. Back then he was hawking a different book and claimed there was proof Obama may have been an Indonesian citizen::: Corsi discusses these school registration documents on pages 50-52 of "The Obama Nation."
We beg to differ. FactCheck.org staffers have now seen, touched, examined and photographed the original birth certificate. We conclude that it meets all of the requirements from the State Department for proving U.S. citizenship."
The existence of the school registration was first revealed on the Internet by "An American Expat in Southeast Asia" on Jan. 24, 2007.
But Corsi's 'birtherism' claims didn't stop Barack from winning the election... maybe he thinks America has forgotten 2008. Whatever happens, I'm sure Hillary Clinton is sitting somewhere right now saying "whew" and being glad that she didn't win the Democratic party nomination (or she'd be saddled with the plunging economy, the Arab uprising and all of the other ticks that have attached themselves to the Obama presidency).Politics are a lot like life: things can turn on a dime, people who posess the ability to change everything show up out of nowhere... basically, anything can happen (and it surely will!)

Forget Corsi and forget his book “Where’s the Birth Certificate” (nothing but a diversion with zero answers and ripped-off from real internet researchers). Don’t waste your hard-earned money, instead read a BANNED book like “America Deceived II” by a real rebel and the “World’s Most Hated Author”, E.A. Blayre III.

I'm not going to waste all my time dissecting the "new" document, but from what I've seen, something seems amiss. One would think that with all the resources the federal government has at its disposal, they would be able to "Photoshop" this document a little better. It's almost too bad to be considered a fake...if that makes any sense.
The race of the father says African and mother is caucasian. They didnt use those terms in 1960 to describe a persons race. White and black were the terms used.
I believe that in 1961 it would have been highly unlikely that a black man's race would have been listed as "African." Perhaps in 1991 or 2001, but not in 1961. In 1961, race would have been listed as "Black" or "***" or even possibly "Colored." "African" seems strange.
Bottom line: it took too long to provide the document allowing plenty of time for the conciderable resources of the government to create and insert this document. If Barry had nothing to hide he should have shown it immediately and before the election.
