BIGGER QUESTION: Why bother commenting on a blog that won't let you?
Maybe somebody up there doesn't like gmail anymore... I've submitted comments to this particular blog several times over the last year. Now, it wants a "valid" email address? You can't get more valid than gmail!

Thanks for getting in touch we me over the issue via Twitter, I have DM'd you back, it seems to be that you have been blocked in the past on other blogs using AntiSpam systems and this in turn has locked you out, but I am looking in to the issue and looking forward to you returning with your comments ;)
