In Cushing, Oklahoma, on Thursday March 22nd, 2012, President Barack Obama sat for an exclusive interview with Yolanda Cade, AAA’s managing director of public relations, to speak directly to AAA’s 53 million members on the topic of high gasoline prices. Although he acknowledged that high gas hurt the economy, and that last time there was a fuel spike it damaged recovery, he still doesn't seem all that concerned. He did have some kind words for the only carmaker that didn't take the federal bail-out, Ford Motor Company.
Early this morning there was a woman talking about real estate on the radio, telling the talk-show host that "it's a buyers market" and "interest rates are low" and "more people are buying" and blah blah blah, but she still doesn't get it either. When the day comes that I can buy a house, I'll be happy to report to you that we as a nation are experiencing good economic times. I am not holding my breath. Nor should you.
