Flowers of the Field

Alas, we are in it. It is wedding season. The weather is getting warmer and everyone's days to say "I do" are sneaking up quickly. They have been planning their weddings all winter and now must add all of the finalizing touches. They have a venue, but now comes the decorating portion. If they are lucky, they will have help with this task, either through a wedding planner or through friends and family. The more help the better during these stressful yet happy times.

One thing that many people leave to the last second is finding Las Vegas wedding flowers. After all it is hard to pick flowers in the winter, until you see how fresh the flowers are in the spring time. The spring time brings a number of beautiful flowers into season, and flowers that could be perfect for that big day.

It is also time to plan that seating chart. Now that all the RSVPs should finally be in, who is going to sit by who? How is your head table going to be set up? Will you have assigned seating at all or just leave it open. It sounds like a lot of decision making, but you will be fine.

Wedding season brings beauty and happiness into people's lives. Although there are last minute decisions that need to be made that can become stressful, the end results is completely worth it. Wedding season is a beautiful thing.

Because, like the fine publication Tablet, whom I borrowed this concept from, I too am committed to bringing you the best, smartest, most enlightening and entertaining reporting and writing I'm able to provide, all free of charge. I take pride in my loyal readership, and I'm thrilled that you choose to engage with me in a way that is both thoughtful and thought-provoking. But the Internet, for all of its wonders, poses challenges to civilized and constructive discussion, allowing vocal—and, often, anonymous—minorities to drag it down with invective (and worse).

I'm asking people who'd like to post comments on my blog to pay a nominal fee—less a paywall than a gesture of your own commitment to the cause of great conversation. All proceeds go to helping me bring you the provocative and/or entertaining articles that brought you here in the first place.

Readers can still interact with me FREE of charge via Facebook comments and Google+ comments! You can also reach me via Twitter @davelucas

I hope this new largely symbolic measure will help create a more pleasant and cultivated environment for all! Those of you who choose to contribute, thanks for your support.
