Global Pest Services

Although springtime is beautiful, there are some negative aspects that come with this time of the year. One of the main negative parts of Spring is the bugs.

They have been gone all winter and you probably forgot they even existed until you recently came home from your walk with a leg full of bites. Instead of just dealing with it and being covered in itchy spots, take some precaution this spring and make sure you are protecting yourself from these little creatures.

First things first. Make sure your home is protected. Call Las Vegas pest control to make sure there are no dangerous bugs waking up beneath your home or coming in to your pantry. You should have the inside and outside of your home checked to make sure no cockroaches, ants, or other rodents are trying to share your living space with you.

The second step should be investing in some good bug spray for when you are not home. Mosquitos, gnats and plenty of other bugs are more than happy to call parks, lakes, rivers, and other places their home. Make sure you are protecting yourself while doing outdoor activities this spring.

You can also take this a step further by investing in some other methods of bug control, including lamps, torches and nets. It is always a good idea to have a backup method in case the bugs are extra thick or your bug spray wears off or was forgotten. Believe me, it will be worth it to invest money into these instead of gallons of anti-itch creams.

Make sure you are protecting you and your family this spring from those pesky bugs. By getting your home checked, and investing in some bug spray and other forms of protection, you will save yourself a lot of trouble and itching! So enjoy the outdoors and warm weather this spring without worrying about bugs.

Because, like the fine publication Tablet, whom I borrowed this concept from, I too am committed to bringing you the best, smartest, most enlightening and entertaining reporting and writing I'm able to provide, all free of charge. I take pride in my loyal readership, and I'm thrilled that you choose to engage with me in a way that is both thoughtful and thought-provoking. But the Internet, for all of its wonders, poses challenges to civilized and constructive discussion, allowing vocal—and, often, anonymous—minorities to drag it down with invective (and worse).

I'm asking people who'd like to post comments on my blog to pay a nominal fee—less a paywall than a gesture of your own commitment to the cause of great conversation. All proceeds go to helping me bring you the provocative and/or entertaining articles that brought you here in the first place.

Readers can still interact with me FREE of charge via Facebook comments and Google+ comments! You can also reach me via Twitter @davelucas

I hope this new largely symbolic measure will help create a more pleasant and cultivated environment for all! Those of you who choose to contribute, thanks for your support.
