Grand Canyon helicopter tours

The Grand Canyon is a great escape for the outdoorsy type. Not only is it one of the seven wonders of the world, it is actually inexpensive to enjoy.

There are many activities to partake in while at the Grand Canyon. It truly does offer a little something for everyone. Whether you are in shape, out of shape, looking to relax, looking for an adventure, or looking for a little bit of everything, there is a way for you to enjoy the Grand Canyon.

One great way to enjoy the Grand Canyon is on foot or by mule/horse. This is a way to experience the Grand Canyon from the surface. You will explore your surroundings and with a tour guide, I'm sure you will learn many new facts. This is a great way to enjoy the Grand Canyon, but you are also limited on what you can see since it will take longer to travel distances.

A way to enjoy a little more of the Grand Canyon is by rafting or kayaking. This will give you an entirely different experience from a different view. The perspective you get from inside the canyon is completely different from the view you get at the top. Just another active way to enjoy the Grand Canyon while staying fit.

Both of these options limit you on how much of the canyon you can see. If you are looking for an active way to enjoy the Grand Canyon but still want to view as much as possible, try combining one of these options with one of the Grand Canyon plane tours. From a plane you will be able to see the canyon from above, and it truly is an awe inspiring view. Grand Canyon helicopter tours are also very popular, especially for those who want pictures to remember their sky high travels.
Choose the option that is most appealing to you, but make sure at some point you are seeing one of nature's greatest wonders.

Because, like the fine publication Tablet, whom I borrowed this concept from, I too am committed to bringing you the best, smartest, most enlightening and entertaining reporting and writing I'm able to provide, all free of charge. I take pride in my loyal readership, and I'm thrilled that you choose to engage with me in a way that is both thoughtful and thought-provoking. But the Internet, for all of its wonders, poses challenges to civilized and constructive discussion, allowing vocal—and, often, anonymous—minorities to drag it down with invective (and worse).

I'm asking people who'd like to post comments on my blog to pay a nominal fee—less a paywall than a gesture of your own commitment to the cause of great conversation. All proceeds go to helping me bring you the provocative and/or entertaining articles that brought you here in the first place.

Readers can still interact with me FREE of charge via Facebook comments and Google+ comments! You can also reach me via Twitter @davelucas

I hope this new largely symbolic measure will help create a more pleasant and cultivated environment for all! Those of you who choose to contribute, thanks for your support.
