Could Stephen Hawking's working mind be isolated, then extracted (downloaded) from his organic brain into a laptop computer or some other sort of storage device?
The idea is not far-fetched!
Would SH still be technically "alive" - and, in the future, perhaps hundreds of years into the future, could his mind be uploaded into another human body?
The obvious threat here sounds no cause for alarm because it is too far ahead in the future that you or I reading this in 2012 will not (unless something drastic changes) be around to witness...
Just thinking, y'know...
Thinks again :::
Suppose that happened but a virus hopped aboard the "destination drive" and turned the incredible Hawking mind into the father of the Zombie Apocalypse... nah!
