Mark Zuckerberg Facebook status: married

Presenting Mr. & Mrs. Mark Zuckerberg!

"Hackers believe that something can always be better, and that nothing is ever complete." ~ Mark Zuckerberg

Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook's founder and CEO, has "tied the knot" with long-time gal-pal Priscilla Chan.

The couple met at Harvard and have been together for more than nine years. He's 28, she's 27.

Wouldn't you love to be living the "storybook life" of Mark Zuckerberg? Like him or not, love facebook or hate it, you have to admit this fellow stepped into the biggest pile of luck imaginable! Wish him well, and wish that you might do one-quarter of one-half of one-percent as well! Congrats to Mark and Priscilla! Live long and propser!
  • Facebook went public on the stock market on Friday.
  • Chan graduated from medical school at the University of California, San Francisco, on Monday, the same day Zuckerberg turned 28.
Are these two under someo sort of lucky star or lucky spell, or what?

I was was channel-hopping with my beloved remote last night, and chanced upon an episode of "Positive Living" on Ion Television. One of those I refer to as "pathway to wealth" gurus was talking about the idea of "living your dream" - she said "tell yourself that you are rich" and you will become so - something along those lines. What do you think of that?

DOES "ATTITUDE" MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL? OR "DUMB LUCK" like the kind Mark Zuckerberg encountered?

And if anybody reaading this has had a personal experience where they changed their life via an affirmation or belief of some kind, please let me know in the comments!

Because, like the fine publication Tablet, whom I borrowed this concept from, I too am committed to bringing you the best, smartest, most enlightening and entertaining reporting and writing I'm able to provide, all free of charge. I take pride in my loyal readership, and I'm thrilled that you choose to engage with me in a way that is both thoughtful and thought-provoking. But the Internet, for all of its wonders, poses challenges to civilized and constructive discussion, allowing vocal—and, often, anonymous—minorities to drag it down with invective (and worse).

I'm asking people who'd like to post comments on my blog to pay a nominal fee—less a paywall than a gesture of your own commitment to the cause of great conversation. All proceeds go to helping me bring you the provocative and/or entertaining articles that brought you here in the first place.

Readers can still interact with me FREE of charge via Facebook comments and Google+ comments! You can also reach me via Twitter @davelucas

I hope this new largely symbolic measure will help create a more pleasant and cultivated environment for all! Those of you who choose to contribute, thanks for your support.
