Christmas Spoiler

PARENTS: Make sure your children cannot read the screen right now.

In his new biography of Jesus Christ, Pope Benedict XVI asserts that nativity donkeys and cattle are a myth. “There is no mention of animals in the Gospels,” writes the Pope, (cross out the animals in the picture) thus breaking the hearts of children across the country who have been cast as donkeys in their school plays.

Benedict also cautions the flock to steer clear of popular claims that angels sang to the shepherds to proclaim the birth of Christ. The pontiff says they used spoken word to communicate. Who knew! This simple misunderstanding led to the craze for carol singing.

Perhaps the sitting head of the church has been reading stuff like this.
