The Kansas City Star supposedly told two of it's reporters to decide between themselves which one of them would be laid off. The American Newspaper Industry is getting a nasty reputation, as we saw recently in Hudson. Must be all that money they're losing to the net.
Jim Romenesko says on his blog management instructed reporters Karen Dillon and Dawn Bormann that they would have to decide their fate and that the managers would stay out of it. Did they end up drawing straws? Find out after the jump.
