The relentless media coverage has become too much for some, and I do understand that.
Like you, and like President Obama, I am deeply touched and saddened by what happened in CT.
GUN CONTROL IS NOT THE ISSUE: The killer's mother was a GUN COLLECTOR who would have had the weapons anyway...
PERHAPS IF her son had been identified and certified as a nut, instead of joining the legions of insane who are medicated and mis-labeled "autistic," she would have been disallowed from owning firearms.
IF GUNS ARE OUTLAWED, ONLY OUTLAWS WILL HAVE GUNS - and if there are no police nearby to counter the outlaws, it will be like the Wild West, the difference being the "bad guys" will takeover everything - kiknda like Mexico right now where the drug gangs rule.

Ashley Curtin, News Report: Our nation is mourning after a fatal shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn., which left 28 dead and 1 injured. The tragic event took place around 9:40 a.m. Friday just as day began at the kindergarten through fourth-grade school, according Newtown police. The gunman, identified by law enforcement officials as Adam Lanza, 20, entered the building decked out in black attire and a bullet-proof vest armed with a Glock and a Sig Sauer and opened fire killing 20 children and six adults.
