Thanks For Nothing

I was always intrigued by the ending lyric of the Jefferson Airplane's "Let Me In"...

It fits quite well here. Thanks for nothing, facebook schnooks!

It also fits well here:

And in the same newspaper, a fellow dies trying to "save" a kitty. The dude fell out of the tree. The cat would likely have come down on his own. If you must get him down, call a firefighter or somebody who knows how to wield a ladder. RIP Good Samaritan!

Seems to me there's been an awful lot of unnecessary dying going on - from the NFL player who killed his girlfriend then himself, to the two local Shen kids who died in a horrific Northway crash. Slow down, be thankful for every minute you are alive. The next minute could be your last. There's an old African proverb that goes something like "you can leave your house in the morning, but you may never come back that night." Think.
