Blood Boiler ::: U.S. Magistrate lets pervert roam in Upstate NY

I am so outraged! While we've been busy worrying about gun laws, we have overlooked something far more sinister. Bad apples never get better. They continue to rot. Stop putting them back in the barrel!

This is really infuriating. What kind of evil person is U.S. Magistrate Andrew Baxter, who let this joker go free? Perhaps he and those who practice his brand of justice should thmeselves be arrested, locked up, and - yes - throw away the key!

As for the killer, let us pray he is never put in solitary so, the inmates may serve as the footsoldiers of justice.

  1. Hopefully Governor Cuomo can use this to pass another emergency law to give WAY harsher punishments to child porn perpetrators and pedophiles.

  5. Local media reported that a U.S. probation officer says 29-year-old David Renz managed to cut the device from his ankle and put it back together so quickly that it didn't prompt the company in Colorado that makes the monitors to notify court officers in Syracuse.

The official says the officers had told the company not to notify them when the ankle monitor's signal was interrupted for a short period of time because the officers were getting tampering alerts every time the devices were knocked against bathtubs or walls.

WAIT, WHY DO I HAVE TO PAY TO COMMENT?
Because, like the fine publication Tablet, whom I borrowed this concept from, I too am committed to bringing you the best, smartest, most enlightening and entertaining reporting and writing I'm able to provide, all free of charge. I take pride in my loyal readership, and I'm thrilled that you choose to engage with me in a way that is both thoughtful and thought-provoking. But the Internet, for all of its wonders, poses challenges to civilized and constructive discussion, allowing vocal—and, often, anonymous—minorities to drag it down with invective (and worse).

I'm asking people who'd like to post comments on my blog to pay a nominal fee—less a paywall than a gesture of your own commitment to the cause of great conversation. All proceeds go to helping me bring you the provocative and/or entertaining articles that brought you here in the first place.

I NEED TO BE HEARD! BUT I DONT WANT TO PAY.
Readers can still interact with me FREE of charge via Facebook comments and Google+ comments! You can also reach me via Twitter @davelucas

I hope this new largely symbolic measure will help create a more pleasant and cultivated environment for all! Those of you who choose to contribute, thanks for your support.
