No, I'm not suffering from it. But I know YOU certainly must be. There's such a glut of either ridiculous or ridiculously outdated "advice" out there directed toward bloggers and their blogs, it makes me wonder why anyone bothers rehashing the same old tired crap we've read over and over again for years. If you are a blogger, just blog! Do your own thing! Forget about Google and all the SEO and "blogging secrets." Be original 99% of the time: stay away from anything that may be copyright protected. Create and Innovate! Just type your stuff and proof it and hit "publish." If your blog is going to be popular, so shall it be. Forcing it down people's throats won't help.
Having typed that, be advised I am conducting a few "traffic attraction" experiments, which should be interesting! If you notice anything odd appearing on this humble weblog, just say to yourself "it's an experiment."
By the way, if you are worried about visuals for your blog, try FreeFoto.com or Foter.com - no royalties to pay, no copyrights (theoretically) to worry about infringing on.
The weekend for me proved to be very analog - I hardly had time for any online activities, and when I did, they were brief. I did notice Hoopscritic.com founder Brian Geltzeiler tweeted Sunday that fired Rutgers coach Mike Rice was coaching hoop for 7th grade girls. Sometimes you just gotta laugh at life and at the way things turn out!
As you see, nothing uploaded here over the weekend as I was busy in the City - I did manage to post a couple items to my mobile blog, but didn't arrive back in Albany until almost 11pm Sunday night.
