Look who's calling from (518) 650 - 1070 ... and (via your Health Insurance information YOU gave your provider) he's ringing up smartphones across the USA! Set your phone (if it has such an option) to send calls from NSAIRSObamacareNYS right to your voicemail!

Here's what happend to one cell phone user: "Got a call from this number today at 12:30 pm on 10-18-13.   I quickly googled it and it came up empty.  'No documents found'.  NOTHING.  Nada, zip, zilch.  Zero!  So of course I"m not going to answer it. So I called it back using my Magic Jack number and it seems to be my health insurance. The recording tells me to enter the phone number that THEY originally called me from.  I do that and it tells me if I want to talk to a representative to use the number located on the back of my card and to press 1 for the main menu.  I press 1. Then I get the same recording. So again, I put the number in that originally called me and I get a message saying, (Get ready for this): 'I'm sorry,  the number you entered doesn't macth any numbers in our system. Thank you and have a great day' and IT HANGS UP ON ME! Thanks for the laugh of the day New York State!"
I hope Edward Snowden left his cell phone at home! LOL!

Snowden: 'No telephone in America makes call without leaving record with NSA'...

Because, like the fine publication Tablet, whom I borrowed this concept from, I too am committed to bringing you the best, smartest, most enlightening and entertaining reporting and writing I'm able to provide, all free of charge. I take pride in my loyal readership, and I'm thrilled that you choose to engage with me in a way that is both thoughtful and thought-provoking. But the Internet, for all of its wonders, poses challenges to civilized and constructive discussion, allowing vocal—and, often, anonymous—minorities to drag it down with invective (and worse).

I'm asking people who'd like to post comments on my blog to pay a nominal fee—less a paywall than a gesture of your own commitment to the cause of great conversation. All proceeds go to helping me bring you the provocative and/or entertaining articles that brought you here in the first place.

Readers can still interact with me FREE of charge via Facebook comments and Google+ comments! You can also reach me via Twitter @davelucas

I hope this new largely symbolic measure will help create a more pleasant and cultivated environment for all! Those of you who choose to contribute, thanks for your support.
